What's New on Namespace: Telegram Wallet, Live Auctions and More (October 2026)

October 2026 has been the busiest month in Namespace's history. Telegram launched its built-in wallet, Toncoin became Gram, and we shipped more than in the rest of the year. Here's everything that's new.

Free Telegram Wallet activation

Telegram's wallet only turns on after its first 0.1 Gram, and you can't see your address before that. Namespace now sends that first 0.1 Gram for free, from namespace.ton, to anyone with a Namespace account. Activate it on namespace.my, in our Mini App, or with /wallet in @namespace_ton_bot. Once it's active, press Use for my domains on the Wallets tab and the domains and usernames in your Telegram Wallet show on your profile.

Live Telegram Wallet stats

How many Telegram Wallets exist? We count them from the chain: over 137,000 so far, with about 3,900 new ones a day. See new and active wallets, Gram held and the largest balances at namespace.my/telegram-wallets, and read how we count them.

Telegram usernames: buy now and live prices

Username pages now show the buy-now price from the live listing. Press Buy now, confirm the current price and the username is in your wallet within seconds. Prices, bids and sales come straight from the chain. Read the guide.

Every live subdomain auction now has its own page with the current bid, the minimum next bid, time left, bid history and a Place bid button. How subdomain auctions work.

Our own real-time TON indexer

Behind the scenes, Namespace no longer depends on third-party APIs for auctions and registrations. Our own indexer reads every TON transaction, decodes TON DNS, Telegram username and subdomain contracts, and updates auctions, bids, registrations, renewals and transfers within seconds. That's why prices and owners on Namespace are now always current.

Cleaner auction alerts on Telegram

Our auction channel, @TonDNSLiveAuctions, now keeps one live post per auction and edits it as bids come in. You get a new notification only when it matters: a new auction, a big price jump, the final hour and the final sale price.

Namespace in Telegram

• In the Namespace Mini App you're logged in automatically with your Telegram account.
• A new Telegram menu groups Wallet Stats, Username Auctions, wallet activation and Data for Business.
• We upgraded to the latest TON Connect, for smoother connections with Tonkeeper, MyTonWallet and Telegram's built-in wallet.

Security upgrades

• Every login now uses a secure session you can end with Log out.
• Adding a wallet to your profile requires a signature from that wallet, so nobody can claim a wallet that isn't theirs.
• Telegram logins are verified with Telegram's signature, and resolved names can't be poisoned with fake addresses.

Namespace Data for Business

The data that powers Namespace is now available to teams in early access: Telegram Wallet analytics, the live domains and usernames market, and custom datasets by API, webhooks or exports. Public on-chain data only; we never link wallets to people. Learn more or visit namespace.my/data.

Prices in Gram

Following the official rename, every price on Namespace is now shown in Gram. TON stays the name of the blockchain, so your .ton domains are unchanged.
